FAQ
1. General Information about Cryopep
Who is Cryopep?
Specializing in the diagnosis of hemostasis and thrombosis since 2008, CRYOPEP provides healthcare professionals with high-quality frozen and lyophilized reagents. Our products are designed to meet the needs of hematology and hemostasis laboratories as well as research centers. With our expertise in hemostasis, we offer Cryopep reagents as well as a comprehensive selection of innovative reagents, rigorously sourced from exclusive international partners.
2. Reagents and Services
What reagents does Cryopep offer?
Our innovative offer includes a range of frozen plasma and reagents specifically designed for the diagnosis of hemostasis and thrombosis. These ready-to-use products are of exceptional quality, equivalent to plasma from healthy donors. We provide high-quality frozen and lyophilized reagents, such as plasmas, assays, calibrators, and controls, designed for in-vitro diagnostics in hemostasis and thrombosis, combining performance and reliability to meet the needs of medical biology laboratories and research centers.
What are the advantages of Cryopep frozen reagents?
The quality of our frozen reagents is based on the careful selection of raw materials, chosen with a high level of scrutiny. We offer frozen plasmas and reagents without additives, ensuring their purity and effectiveness. By opting for a frozen in-vitro diagnostic reagent, we eliminate the steps involved in lyophilization, avoiding the potential alterations it may cause. This approach also guarantees an optimized pre-analytic process, reducing the risk of errors during reagent reconstitution.
Does Cryopep offer custom products and services?
Yes, Cryopep offers custom research reagents tailored to specific customer needs, such as custom plasmas, assays, characterizations, and on-demand training.
Are Cryopep products compatible with all analyzers?
Yes, our products are designed to be used with all market analyzers. Have a need or a question? Cryopep teams are available to help you implement your new test routine.
What is the difference between RCN (Cryocheck Reference Control Normal), CCNRP (Cryocheck Normal Ref Plasma), and CCN-10 (Cryocheck Pooled Normal Plasma) when I wish to buy a normal plasma control for an ELISA assay?
CCN-10 is a non-titrated normal plasma that can serve as an internal control.
RCN-10 is a titrated normal control (value with a range).
CCNRP-10 is a titrated calibrator (exact value).
Can a calibrator like the CCNRP be used as a normal control in ELISA?
It can be, but this is not its intended use. We recommend using the RCN-10, which is more suitable for this purpose.
Can the ELISA kits sold by Cryopep be used on mouse plasma?
Some kits can indeed be used on mouse plasma. Please feel free to contact Cryopep teams to confirm this.
Why am I not getting the same results as those shown on the certificate of analysis for the same reagent?
Several factors need to be considered, such as temperature, reagent lot number, solubilization time, or incubation time in the analyzer, etc. Please do not hesitate to contact us so we can identify the cause of the issue together and find solutions.
