The antibody was then purified by affinity chromatography using human factor II in order to eliminate antibodies not directed against human factor II.
The main advantage of affinity chromatography purification lies in increased specificity and sensitivity, reduced background signals, and improved reproducibility through the removal of non-specific antibodies.
Description of the Affinity-purified polyclonal antibody against human Factor II (FII)
Polyclonal sheep antibodies directed against human Factor II (FII), used in hemostasis research. The sheep were immunized with human Factor II to induce an immune response, resulting in the production of antibodies specifically directed against Factor II.
After a period of time, blood was collected from the immunized sheep, and all antibodies were isolated: those directed against human Factor II (in large quantity), as well as natural antibodies against sheep Factor II.
The antibodies were then purified by affinity chromatography using human Factor II in order to eliminate antibodies not directed against human Factor II.
The main advantage of affinity chromatography purification lies in increased specificity and sensitivity, reduced background signals, and improved reproducibility through the removal of non-specific antibodies.
These antibodies are ideal for:
-
Detection of human Factor II
-
Applications such as ELISA, Western blot, or immunohistochemistry
-
Research on coagulation disorders, including Factor II deficiency
Product advantages:
-
High affinity for human Factor II
-
Affinity chromatography-purified version
-
For research use only (not for IVD use)
-
Manufactured using controlled processes (immunization + purification)
