Pefakit® Reptilase® Time
Pefakit® Reptilase® Time is used for the investigation of the last phase of blood coagulation.
Due to its heparin insensitivity, Pefakit® Reptilase® Time can detect fibrinogen polymerization disorders even in the presence of heparin.

Informations
The reptilase time is an easy and automatable chronometric test describing the transformation of fibrinogen into fibrin (fibrinoformation), measured by the clotting time of a citrated blood plasma during the addition of venom (atrox Bothrops).
Reptilase converts fibrinogen into fibrin.
However, unlike thrombin, reptilase is insensitive to heparin.
