The reptilase time is an easy and automatable chronometric test describing the transformation of fibrinogen into fibrin (fibrinoformation), measured by the clotting time of a citrated blood plasma during the addition of venom (atrox Bothrops).
Reptilase converts fibrinogen into fibrin.
However, unlike thrombin, reptilase is insensitive to heparin.

The Reptilase® Time reagent contains 20 BU (batroxobin units) and stabilizers.

Inserts and certificates of analysis provided.
Safety data sheets (SDS) provided. CE marking.
Adaptable, the reagent is designed for use on most hemostasis analyzers.
