Les plasmas natifs sont issus exclusivement de patients ayant un déficit congénital sévère, sans ajout de tampon ou de préservatif. La congélation des plasmas permet de conserver parfaitement intacte la matrice et éviter une reconstitution.

Ainsi, des plasmas déficients de très grande qualité sont disponibles tout en étant identiques à des plasmas de patients.

Les plasmas congelés, natifs, issus de donneurs, sont pauvres en plaquettes et certifiés avoir moins de 1 % pour le facteur déficient considéré, à la fois pour le dosage antigénique et fonctionnel.
